TokenCenter sells prepaid AI API credit at provider cost. You buy credit once, call any model in the catalog with one key, and each request costs exactly what the provider charges. We add no markup.
What is TokenCenter?
One OpenAI-compatible API for the whole model catalog, about 284 paid models served through OpenRouter. You load credit onto your key and every call is debited at the provider’s own price: input tokens at the model’s input rate, output tokens at its output rate.
What does it cost to get started?
Creating an API key takes seconds and needs no email or card. Get one here. New keys start with $0 of credit, so model calls need credit from a pack, starting at $5. Browsing the catalog, comparing models and using the cost calculator cost nothing.
How much does a request cost?
Exactly the provider’s price, with zero markup. Input and output tokens are priced separately at the rates listed on each model’s page. If the provider reports extra charges such as prompt caching, web search or reasoning, those pass through at cost too. Use the calculator to estimate a job before you run it.
What can I buy?
Credit packs are one-time purchases, and the price you pay is the credit you get:
- Mini: $5 for $5 of credit
- Maker: $19 for $19 of credit
- Studio: $59 for $59 of credit
- Founding membership: $10 once, for lifetime membership plus $20 of credit

What happens when I run out of credit?
The request is refused with a clear 402 error before any model is called, so nothing is charged. Top up with a pack and carry on.
Does credit expire? Are there subscriptions?
Credit doesn’t expire. There are no subscriptions, seats or renewals. Packs and Founding are one-time payments.
How do I pay? Do you store my card?
You pay by card or wallet on Stripe’s hosted checkout page. Stripe handles the card details, and this site never sees, receives or stores your card number. Credit is added to your key as soon as Stripe confirms the payment.
Can I get a refund?
Yes. A refund removes the credit it paid for. If some of that credit has already been spent, we refund the unspent part proportionally. To ask for one, contact us through SolaroLabs.com with “TokenCenter refund” in the subject. Each card gets one Founding credit grant.
Does it work with my existing tools?
If your tool speaks the OpenAI chat-completions format, yes. Point its base URL at https://api.tokenctr.com/v1, paste your key and pick a model id from the catalog. See the quickstart, or migrating from OpenRouter.
Are there extra fees or tax?
Payment processing is included in the pack price. Sales tax is collected only where we’re registered to collect it, and Stripe shows it at checkout before you pay.
What do you do with my prompts and data?
Prompts are forwarded to the model provider to generate the response. We record usage (model, tokens, cost, time) for billing, and we don’t sell data. The privacy page has the details.
